No account, no tracking
Journexa does not require an account. You are identified only by a secure UUID generated on your device and stored in encrypted secure storage. We never collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information.
Your journal data
Your journal entries are stored on Convex, a serverless database, associated only with your anonymous device UUID. We do not share, sell, or use your journal content to train AI models. Your entries are yours alone.
AI processing
When you create an entry, it is sent to AI models for mood analysis and insight generation. This processing is performed on-demand and the content is not retained by the AI provider beyond the request.
Push notifications
If you enable daily reminders, your device push token is stored securely and used only to deliver journaling reminders. You can disable this at any time from Settings.
Data deletion
You can delete all your data at any time from Settings → Delete All Data. This permanently removes your entries, streak data, and push token from our servers.
